She moved to San Antonio in 1986 to attend St. Mary\u2019s University, where she obtained her Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s Degrees in Political Science and where she currently works as the McNair Scholars Program Grant Coordinator and is pursuing her second graduate degree, an MS in Program Evaluation.
